General information

The School of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage considers it one of its priorities to facilitate access to existing documentation related to the subjects taught in the institution, especially considering that due to its specificity, this documentation is often difficult to access.

Throughout the decades of teaching in our school, we have been able to build up an interesting bibliographic collection consisting of publications related to the world of cultural heritage, both in the field of conservation and restoration as well as in its historical, artistic, technical-scientific, legal, etc. aspects. The exchange of publications with institutions related to cultural heritage, many of them foreign, has greatly enriched the holdings of our library with specialized and uncommon titles.

RBEASM (Network of Libraries of Higher Artistic Education Centers in the Community of Madrid)

The Network of Libraries of Higher Artistic Education Centers in Madrid was established in 2013 with the initial goal of implementing a unified catalog for all participating centers and sharing bibliographic resources. Since February 2014, the catalog has been accessible online, managed in collaboration with the Subdirectorate General of Books of the Community of Madrid. On September 1, 2018, the Agreement on the Network’s Loan Service came into effect, allowing all network users to benefit from home loans from any of the participating libraries.
