The Master’s Degree in Artistic Education in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage in Europe, offered by the ESCRBC, provides advanced and multidisciplinary training in the field of conservation-restoration, aimed at professional, academic, and research specialization. Its main objective is to enhance and update the prior training of graduates in cultural heritage conservation-restoration, enabling them to acquire the competencies and qualification level required (MECES Level 3 / EQF Level 7) to enter the European job market as highly qualified conservator-restorers, and to engage in research activities.
The general structure of the curriculum is based on a core of compulsory subjects combined with elective courses, giving the Master’s program the flexibility needed to focus the training—according to each student’s preferences—on a specific specialization or on a deeper study of selected subjects. Thus, students may choose individual courses or pursue a defined specialization track.
